Iran short film ‘Slaughter’ has been scheduled to screen at the 17th edition of Third Eye Asian Film Festival in India.
Co-directed by Saman Hosseinpour and Ako Zandkarimi will be screening at the Best Short Film Competition section of the festival.
The film narrates the story of a family that has to sell their only cow to live through a tough winter. The family's son, however, is not happy with the deal so he lets the cow escape.
Being screened at 2018 edition of Early Bird International Student Film Festival in Bulgaria, this is the second international presence of the film.
The Third Eye Asian Film Festival aims to establish interaction between Asian film industry and create a dialogue with the west.
The latest edition of the film event is slated for December 13-20, 2018 in the Indian city of Mumbai.
